Term 3 - Week 4

We have once again had a busy week in Room 16 this week. We have been learning more about dinosaurs, researching what scientists think led to them becoming extinct. What do you think?

Below is a link to a great website that has lots of information about dinosaurs and some dinosaur games the children can play (these cannot be played on an iPad unfortunately):

Every Wednesday is sharing day in Room 16 and the children bring along some amazing things for us to all look at. Here are some of the items children brought last week to tell the class about:

We are working on extending our questioning skills - encouraging the children to listen carefully to what their friend is telling them and respond with an appropriate question. Sometimes the children share with the whole class and sometimes with a buddy. They always have a lot to say!

Here is Patrick our superstar with his completed star chart. Well done for working so hard.

We have all be excitedly watching the progress of the new Tiger Turf outside Room 8, and it is now almost finished. Hopefully the children will be able to play on it next week which will be great. I am sure it will be a popular choice.

Have a nice weekend everyone.
