Term 3 - Week 6

So sorry this post is delayed. I forgot to bring the camera home with all the photos from the week!

Wow - Week 6 already, I can't believe we only have 4 weeks left this term. We were lucky enough this week to have 2 sessions with Ben from Futsal. The children had a great time working on their soccer skills and we all learnt lots of new drills.

We have been bust learning about 2D shapes over the last week and on Wednesday we went for a shape walk around the school. We found shapes in lots of places. Why don't you go on a shape hunt at home?

On Thursday we were lucky enough to have some students from Nayland College put on a concert at Nayland Primary. This was perfect timing for us as we have been learning about sound for our science topic this week. There was a range on instruments being played and some great singing voices. The children got to sit at the back on the chairs!

On Tuesday some friends from Nayland Kindergarten came and visited us at school. They joined us for Jump Jam and did some writing activities with us. It was great to have them at school and we can't wait until they start. Here they are in our class:
