Term 2 - Week 6

We are over halfway through the term now and all the children have made such great progress. Keep up the good work. Anna joined our class on Thursday and has settled in amazingly! I will add a photo later as I forgot to bring the camera home this weekend.

The Cross Country was a great morning out and all the children tried their hardest. Special congratulations to Siulia who came 9th in the 5 year old girls race. Here are some photos from the race, I apologise if there is not a photo of your child at the finishing line.

We have been busy reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar and making Hungry Caterpillar books, our own caterpillars and butterflies. Here is a photo of them on display in the classroom. Why don't you come and have a look at the display.

In maths some children have been playing a game of skittles. They had to roll the ball and try to knock down the skittles. Then we counted how many were knocked down and how many were left.

Finally, our stars of the week this week are Patrick and Lydia. Patrick has been working really hard on learning his sounds and Lydia has been an excellent role model for other children, always doing the right thing. Well done!
