Term 2 - Week 7

For the second week in a row Room 16 has had a juicy ticket winner. This time the lucky student whose ticket was pulled out by Mr Deacon in assembly was Cohen. He was given his ticket for playing a game nicely. Here he is with Mr Deacon and with his juicy. What a treat for Cohen!

During maths this week we have been playing lots of number games. In this game we turned over a number card and the children had to find a number on their game board that was either one more or one less than than the number card. If they could find one of these numbers they covered it with a counter. It was lots of fun.

During Discovery Time the children were working on the key competency 'Relating to Others'. They were encouraged to work together effectively. Here are Isabelle and Ajay doing just that. They worked together with the equipment to build a trampoline. Isabelle made the trampoline and Ajay made the cover. What a super effort.

We have had a short but busy week and are looking forward to two new children joining our class next week. Well done everyone.
